The Working Group on Molecular Aspects of the Origin of Life organized by Academician Prof. Hans Tuppy, was held on 16-18 October 1978. Interest in the topic is ever growing, thanks to the new astronomical techniques which make it possible to observe prebiotic molecules from the stellar spaces of our galaxy, and to see how biological macromolecules are formed from these simple molecules.
