The Working Group on The Dangers of a Nuclear War, held on 24-26 April 1980, was the first in a series of similar meetings which attempted to put an end to the use of nuclear weapons in warfare.
A document was drawn up establishing some key points on the current state of nuclear weapons and the dangers they represent.
