The Second Ordinary Session of the Third Academic Year took place on Saturday, 21 January 1939. During the Session, some issues related to the functioning of the Academy were discussed. More specifically, Academician Bottazzi suggested holding one or two annual conferences and inviting eminent experts in specific scientific disciplines to explore controversial issues and problems on which there was still no agreement.
